This post is based completly on FACT, so if you don't believe me, go check it up.
First, let me say, there are NO alien aircraft at Area 51, nor are there aliens, it's a myth, once propogated by the government, now withdrawn.
Area 51 is a once 'secret' government aircraft testing facility, you'd think they would have stopped after the reputation they got, but decided not to. That means that that air base has technology unreleased to the public about flying crafts that we have, but will probably never see the battlefield unless theres a major war (Iraq doesn't count).
What do you think? they're gonna tell us that they have X plane that can do this and that? No, keep it a secret, the 'enemy' would have the same knowledge we would, so as a security measure, keep it secret. When they say 'weather baloon' they mean 'we're not all owed to tell you, casue if we did, we'd have to shoot you to protect the secret.'
After the crash in Roswell,NM the government released 2 statements within hours of each other (I forgot the order though, so bear with me) You can check up to see that they really were made. One was that there was an alien aircraft there, the other was that there was a weather baloon. One was to cover up the other... but why cover up a so called weather baloon? (or secret gov aircraft) Because at the time, and the governemnt said this later on, we were dealing with a crisis, shortages, the cold war, ect ect ect. So have a diversionary tactic, as long as we care about UFOs we don't about the war with the USSR. A mediocre cartoon kinda sybolized that with a 'deadly robot' episode, Futurama. I personally love the cartoon, it's pretty good... so the episode goes on about how the robots want to kill humans, but in the end it was a diversionary tactic by the 'elders' to keep their minds off a rising lugnut shortage. The colloseum was pretty much the same, keep the people's minds off of what troubles them.
The government eventually realized this was a mistake because of the so called 'cult' it created, so finally told the truth years later, but of course, by then we didn't trust out government, so why believe them then?
That's pretty much what ahs happened so far, UFO sightings so far have been experimental gov. aircraft/spacecraft we weren't supposed to know about. And the USA isn't the only country doing this. Each country has its own. The big UFO experts who've camped out Area 51 will tell you exactly what I've said here.
Anotehr point to make, sometime in the 50s I think it was, people wanted to know what the US had done about getting into space before the USSR. The government naturally couldn't release what they had really done, because the communists might get their hands on it, there were spies everwhere, so they had a completely made up showing of the technology they had... a bunch of costumes really, and suped up cars/buggies to look like 'spaceships.' The copies of this tape are rare, but if you look hard enough you'll find them... I got mine through a company that specializes in government films from around WW2 and on, some WW1 too. I also have the 'hater the germans' video that was shown to GIs in Germany at the end of the was to stop fraternization... Now thats a funny one.
