Great movie! I think they handled the parallel universe phenomena very well, especially when both universes seemed to overlap.
That bit was pretty unexpected and caught me off-guard. It was an interesting moment in the movie that added to the mystery.
Consider the scene where Chris O'Dowd's character gets stuck in a wall and loses his arm.
