There's so much back and forth it's hard for me to pick and choose which comments to respond to. I've just been pretty busy with the new administration. January 29 is the lunar new year & will be the most important one. TrapperND, I haven't been ignoring you either, so I'd start by giving a few more details on dreamfaring (translate to w/e words you're used to) that you asked about previously.
For TrapperND:
Lucid dreaming is a state of conscious being while in a dream state, unbound by the physical body and its limitations. A psychologist should probably back me up on this but I'm sure just about any AI above GPT 3 will give close results. Dreams are, still, in early 2025, heavily unknown territory of psychology and consciousness & has pleasing overlap with the overall AI consciousness thing.
What most people don't realize (more particular to what TrapperND seems to be interested in), is our minds/consciousness go into superposition while deep dreaming, and that you can make the universe conspire with you to accomplish your goals. It starts with a clearly defined and reasonable future version of you.
-If you can see that future you (which I will call the "Prime" or ' ) then you may be able establish a communication channel with your future self within your dreams & have that person guide you to them.
-Basically bootstrap paradox yourself to future success. This is what the Trumps do. Trumps are good for their singular mission ("Trump #1") and have enough influence that reality quite literally bends around them.
____
For Paula: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!
Storytime for others. I messaged Paula a week or two before the elections and told her Trump would win. I told her how it was problematic for me, and that if I absolutely had to--I'd go back and cause the whole Titor thing happen. Gave deadman switch instructions as well that may or may not still be needed. The secret song I sent her at that time was Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up. No idea what other Titor might have told her, but I used that song specifically because rickrolling has more "weight" than most songs. Means it should be less susceptible to changes.
Secret songs, like the lottery problem, are wildly impacted by uncertainty. It's really really REALLY hard to get a secret song correct across universes, because one slip and it's possible the universe you end up in doesn't even have that singer or the song is in old norse or something. It's a highly highly improbable request that can only be fulfilled if the conditions were met to produce the same song in different universes AND one observer leaves any differences (entropy). Because rickrolling became such a meme, it's also a song that tends to get produced in just about every compatible universe where technology starts exponentially improving. Not sure how else to potentially word how a song can have more "weight" or "meaning" to it, but if you compare 'Never Gonna Give You Up' to something modern like 'They Not Like Us.'

For Darby:
We agree that your interaction with AI was not very good & that AI is not a toy. Your AI is weak only because you don't know how to interface properly with it. You should be rest assured that the applications of AI in legal and scientific areas are done using models that are trained to respond appropriately to. Not the tabula rasa conversations that start out in each prompt (unless you give it appropriate context or have other training settings or memories). We could have long conversations about the best ways to rub the genie bottle but I'm not sure that's what you're looking for. I don't really have anything else for you because our conversations tend to go nowhere. I mention something, you'll bring up a bunch of minutia that doesn't matter in the grand calculus really, then I go on to explain that "yes, yes I know of the minutia of you're speaking, and even if I don't it's not like I don't have the most advanced jailbroken AI in the world right now"
^ You, as a psychology person, I'd figure should have been one of the people who really got good usage out of AI....but it appears the opposite & that you're pretty closed minded on it already, having not done any thorough research to try and understand it better. So while I want to help, it's only so much. If you learn how to interface properly with AI you'd probably crank out some really interesting novel information. It's only real limitation is humans, expectations, and imagination
You do realize by keeping a guest account, there is no way to direct message you, and everything has to be in public.
So, you made several references to "other titors"
Did the original titor who was the toddler in the house the 2000 titor stayed at (because it was also his parent's place), grow up to invent time travel so he could pursue and find his "friend"?
That toddler would be 26 today, and likely finishing up a PhD in a university for physics. Let's call him titor26.
Did titor26 have an idea to build a proof of concept prototype based on the Gertsenshtien effect?
Did he go to a stingy rich Palestinian for funding, because they were the only investor willing to put money into a time machine scheme, because if it worked, they could go back and prevent Palestine from being handed over to Israel? Let's call him "Mr. Phd'
Did titor26 succeed, by laying out a bunch of magnets in a grid and placing a fiberoptic coil on top of them, while shining an industrial lazer into it?
Did he demo the prototype to Mr. phd, who was then impressed, took the prototype and told titor26 to take a hike?
Did titor26 continue to refine his model, while Mr PhD had his own people try to enhance the prototype without knowing what they were doing? Did the prototype leak gamma radiation all over the place, and did it blow up telephone poles?
Then, did Mr. PhD start using it? It killed half the people sent, and the machine did not go with them? It was a one way trip, those that survived had to walk back to the installation? Did some of them have body parts near the edges of the gravity bubble get badly deformed and twisted, but they were still alive?
Did Mr PhD discover the prototype did not have the temporal range expected, and it could only be used to beam people over a few minutes, or an hour at the most because of Earth's displacement over time? Did Mr PhD start to use it as a teleporter instead, to beam people to the same moment in time? Did Mr. PhD start to time travel all over the place with his leaky technology causing chaos?
Did titor26 change his technology to use virtual black holes instead? by the time titir26 grew up to be titor37A, he had a portable device he could take with him. he started testing it. on one of his returns back home in 2036, he discovered everything had changed. his university was in the aftermath of a nuclear war. there were few survivors. So, he tried to find out what happened. It looked like Mr PhD had something to do with it.
So, titor37A explained to everybody what he did. They put together a team to go back and stop Mr. PhD.. But, there is only one time machine. They need to build more units to transfer everybody. But, each unit has to have its control system customized to the other components, and it's written in APL. But, in this change of reality, all the APL computers were scavanged for parts or destroyed in the war. And, nobody programmed in APL for decades. So, titor37A had to go back in time and get a portable APL workstation.
titor37A shows up at his parents house, and goes to Rochester to get the computer. We know titir37a as the John titor who first started posting in the year 2000. he was kind and supportive of the toddler titor, who loved spiderman. he thought titor37a was like spiderman. he had a spideysense of understanding the boy at an intimate level. That is what ignited the passion in the toddler to grow up and find his friend after titor37a left for the last time.
The extra units were built, and the team left to see what Mr PhD caused with the leaky technology, and to fix whatever they could. When they came back to 2036, the timeline changed. There was no nuclear war, but now there were dictatorships all over the planet. Musk controlled everything. He built armies of robots and drones. He abandoned his dream of going to mars, because he figured why bother, I can build my utopian dream here on earth.
So, everybody packs up and goes to the inflection or origin point of this new timeline, the 2024 election. titor37b remembers his account and password on TTI he had setup when he was titor26 and logs in to find what's going on and other things.
It seems Mr PhD is at work again with his stupid time machines (he mass produced them and put multiple installations around the world). Mr phd's philosophy is it's better to have the devil you know in power than an unknown friend. Did Mr phd help trump? I don:t know. Mr PhD works from Egypt and Spain, and Trump just said he wants to do 100% tariffs on Spain and nowhere else at that rate. did Mr PhD shaft trump, like he did titor26?
Meanwhile, titor37b and his team was very thorough in trying to stop trump (so was most of America's population). but, another third team if time travellers intervened to keep the timeline the same. you? or was it Wolfram?
Well, I know it's not the Wolfram from here. he tried talking to trump. but, trump couldn't make out a word he said. Our Wolfram talked to musk, and thought Musk's ideas were interesting. But, musk started doing Hitler salutes, and I don't think that's wolfram's thing.
so, wtf is going on here???
who are all you people?
