Dear Time Travel Institute,

I have received permission from my superiors to send you this one communique.

I believe that it is time to put the saga of John Titor to rest once and for all. I too am from the future and am an officer in the Temporal Fraud Division, of the Chronology Bureau. We track down time felons know to us as "Tempus Fugitives" which is a slight play on a term used in a science fiction story of your era.

Let me state to you right now that "John Titor" is a real person, although this is not his actual name. We of the future have strict laws governing time travel for the obvious reasons and Mr Titor has broken these laws.

We do the best we can keeping track of those who would use time travel to their own advantage or to dupe those of earlier times. However every now and then one of these criminals does manage to elude us for a time.

This felony in our time is rather akin to the problem you are having with Identity Theft in your time. Instead of stealing identies however, these people are literally stealing your time.

I hope you understand the unbelievable damage that a person form our time, knowing every single detail and fact of your time could do. We like our time just the way it is, and a person trying to change this by going back into the past is subject to penalties of the severest type.

One of which is taking the felon back to perhaps the sixteenth century and stranding him there. I'm sure you can imagine the horror of the complete finality of this punishment.

Mr. Titor has been apprehended and was dealt with according to our laws. He shall not be bothering you again. You were lucky this time, as Mr Titor was on the verge of perpetrating an action that would have completely disrupted your computer and INTERNET based society.

Just so you know, the generalities of the predictions of which Mr. Titor spoke could easily have been ascertained by any astute person of your era. In the future, please use some reason and logic when confronted by this type of situation and don't be so gullible.

You your selfs gave "Mr Titor" all the credibility that he needed. This will be the one and only communication you shall receive from me.

I know you're taking he waz, but if you'd have just left it at "Tempus Fugitives", I'd have thought you were witty and clever. As it is, you had to ruin it by adding the sci-fi story bit. Now I don't know if you actually know that it's a play on the latin phrase for "time flies" and are playing dumb, or if you really get all your knowledge from popular culture.
 
Well, I think you are a lying S.O.A.B. All those people trying to tell us that the world is going to end. I think J TT is true and he said things that have become reality. Such as the BSE hype that is currently in England becoming reality and the support of the Jews in Israel by Europe and other western nations slowly getting less and less. And the developing of civil unrest in America near the elections. (Of which I think is true. If you read cnn.com you'll find the American Goverment braces itself for attacks by domnestic non-muslim terrorists).

But the story of John is getting more unrealistic because of these people who are saying that they are from the future. Which is in fact not true. But anyway I think this forum should buy some extra bandwidth to cope with the visitors who are coming if the civil unrest realy starts to develop.
 
Well, I'll say again I'm a newbee here. Until now I had not explored the time travel subject on the internet at all but, on a recent trip, I listened to a book on CD The Time Traveler's Wife then rented the DVD The Butterfly Effect . Of course, I have seen other time travel movies ( Somewhere in Time, The Time Machine ) and multi-universe movies ( Mr. Destiny, Family Man ), not to mention SiFi TV shows like Quantum Leap and Stargate , and the story about the guy that gets the newspaper a day ahead of time (the name slips my mind). So, becoming bored with the usual internet sites I visit, I searched for "time travel" and found this site, among others. After reading about John Titor (I had never heard of him until yesterday), I searched the internet again and found several of his old posts on other sites. It was amusing to read all the questions people asked him in order to "prove" he was genuine. All the posts I read were from early 2001.

I found one thing he said to be very interesting regarding an American Civil War that is to begin 2004-2005. There is an event that is being researched right now, and whether it will occur is yet to be seen but, if it does, it could spark a civil uprising in this country. A recent Newsweek article reported that officials in the Bush Administration are exploring the legalities of postponing the national elections because of the possibility of terrorist activities. There is no mention of how long this "postponment" would be, only whether the Justice Department sees any problem with the action.

Of course, I don't know that such a development would be "proof" of John Titor's authenticity but it sure would be eerie.
 
IF this is true and you claim you like your time just as it is you would never have aloud time travel to be possibly and furthermore it is entirely impossible to begin with to have time travel lol
 
to adress this possibility of a time criminal if the said john titor is a time criminal and is in the year of 2005-3015 this case then falls to the jurristiction of the united states time travel enforcement department . and to adress those saying mango isn't a time traveller it maybe possible that he is my job is to keep track of time travellers that are here to carry out time law enforcement missions .
 
I have been working with a time travel chamber for over a decade. I have managed to move through space but not time. What I mean is, portal transport has become common for me. I feel the time barrier will be broken soon. First, I will be able to move forward in time. Eventually, reverse travel should be possible. But, I do admit, I am frightened.

btw your website is one great big steaming pile, its ubiqitous in nature, its so horribly gone awry that words cannot express the sheer sympathy I feel for your apparent full hearted effort at trying to maintain some resemblance of an Actual life.

Seriously your website was rather pointless, I have no idea who the Zaxon guy is but I believe you are in need of some form of therapy. Also I've never seen a personal website more geared to earn money off foolishness than yours. Have you earned 10 cents? Have you gotten even 1 donation?

And what does any of it do with Time Travel.


About this device you have can you explain how it works, what sort of technology you use, how it was assembled?

basically I think you're full of it but enjoy reading the forums and posting. =)
 
Well, back on topic. If he (Titor) broke the laws of their time, then did not this Mano Detrium also? If the stories are true, then this is an awful two-faced govenmet which enforces rules and breaks them themselves! Also I agree with the Dr W on this one. Even IF the story of Titor is posibly true, there is not nearly as much evidence in this, in fact there is no evidence! I could build a story like this by simply reading the postings of JTT, i may even be able to do it now, and i have known of him for little more than a month! And only began to slightly research lately.

I care who invented the telephone second because he got it right and worked out a lot of the bugs from the prototype. His name was Arnold Prinknash and he was deleted from history during the third dark conspiracy of age XVII. But, some of you will already know this if you are familiar with the prophesies of Needermeir.

however if you accidentally rip a hole in the fabric of space time around the planet earth and get us all sucked into an alternate dimension where black is white and good is bad and everybody barks like a dog but the dogs talk, and Elvis is still alive but the King is dead and McDonalds has whoppers and Burger king sells Big Mac's, then I'm going to be really upset.

Theres no BSE hype in England. There hasnt been any hype for a while. Everyone knows of the implications of BSE and CJD for years and years now. sometimes it gets reported as updates. Nothing has been doing the rounds in a major way for years though.

Also, there must be some pretty strict Time travel rules in the future. So strict it even allows for officials to return to the past and just clarify the whole Titor story for us before leaving.

I think i just saw a pig outside of my window. I was riding one of those hover boards from back to the future 2!
