I Would Like to Pose a Question About Science in General.

imprisoning ourselves in an accumulation of orbiting space junk.
You mean the space junk imprisons us more than the 1 to 2 million 1 km+ size asteroids in the asteroid belt not to mention the billion or so smaller asteroids? Or the hundreds of thousands of asteroids larger than 100 km in the Kuiper Belt plus the billions of smaller objects?

Well, somebody needs to get a broom to clean it up. But, I imagine all that space junk will form a ring around the earth instead of engulfing the planet. Although, a lot would have fallen into the atmosphere and burned up by then

I had an epiphany 3 years ago. I have been trying to disprove for it ever since.

It is semi-related.

The Great Pyramids of Giza.

Please, let me explain. *

Mankind has not built a structure as large and as stable than the Great Pyramid still to this day.

Disprove this statement. ↗

I use the term proof loosely in this case for several reasons. First, speculation due to massive structures built today have not had a chance to stand the test of time. Therefore, speculation must be considered. Secondly, keep in mind that if something was built that was taller had to be structurally sound. For example, the spire of Lincoln Cathedral in England that was originally 525 feet surpassing the Giza by 44 feet, collapsed in a storm in 1549. That is not structurally sound. On the other hand, there is a story about a Pharoh that commissioned workers to destroy the pyramids. There is still damage on the side of the smallest pyramid of the three and there they decided to give up after 8 months of expensive and intense labor. Lastly, consider the pyramids not only were not well maintained in 4 or 5000 years, but they were also sometimes looked at as an impossible zit to pop on the face of Egypt.

If my statement is true, then I believe the implications suggest materials that were occurring long before man is still more superior than anything we have produced for construction. Yet, they set that bar 4,000 years ago.

Things that make you go 🤔...
