The time chronographer team establishes a prison for time travelers that steal from themselves that erases people memories in order to steal or commit fraud.It is also against the law to not have a time travel license.They a maximum security prison built with no gates.Where if you try to get out you end up back in prison automatically with no one apprehending you.It so effective that it is being cosidered for regular criminals.

I have not time traveled yet but I don't want to time travel anymore. I want to be with my wife and kids but that is not allowed. Some people want me to get out but I don't want to time travel and if it is like the butterfly effect then I guess I'll have to choose someone else to be with. I want out of this life sentence. I'm sorry I do not want to time travel. I don't know what to do. Paradox sucks.

on a series about time travel. On what do you
base the above quoted opening of this thread?

How about folks who reclaim what was stolen from them?
What next comes to my mind is a growing 'underground'
that's honored to harbor an influential protagonist/refuge.
One could either write such a story or invite improvisation.
