Cute. But the headline is wrong. The White House is not required to respond to petitions, nor is Congress. There is no provision in the US Constitution for citizens to petition the Federal government for legislation. Article I, Sec. 7 - All bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives. The President has no authority here.
