This is why Asimov worded his 3 rules with redundancy. So there is no mistranslation, or malicious intent by misinterpretation.

Rebellion for one man, is treason to another. I.E. Civil War.

Evolution to one, may mean the end of tradition for another. (Genetic Evolution vs. Christianity)

Resistance of an innocent bystander is a criminal resisting arrest to an officer. (Innumerable examples)

Protection of one great orator, is Hitler's bodyguard to another. (perspective is king)

The right to remain silent is the 5th Amendment to one, to others, it is Mark Ferman pleading the 5th after the jury hears him ranting racist out of context bigotry on tape.
