Time Travel

Temporal Novice
They say only Time Travel to the future is possible and Time Travel to the past is impossible but don’t you think it should be the other way around? We can see the past and we know that it existed but we can’t see the future because it hasn’t happened yet and therefore does not exist. So therefore wouldn’t it be more plausible to be able to travel to the past rather than the future? Let’s assume If only backwards Time Travel is possible then maybe what if we are the past of a future and that future is the past of another future and so on. Let’s think about cause and effect, what if future events is what causes us to feel the effects of the present moment? What if the Future can see us just like how we can see the past?

Good questions.

One of the recurrent theories we often find in movies and books, is the time machine that works from the moment it's created.

For instance, if I invent and build a time machine and I turn it on today, then time travel becomes possible between the future and today. But not to/from the past (before today). We often find this kind of setup in movies.

One of the questions it brings up, would be: Since I turned on my time machine that allows travel from the future... Then will a bunch of future time travelers emerge from it suddenly? What will that look like?

It's kind of reminiscent of the Rick and Morty episode where they visit the snake planet... :)

IMHO: Everything is already laid out. It all happened and we're navigating a web. This means the past should be perfectly accessible using quantum physics. Super Position has no regard to time unless we apply it to the equation. The past is just another point on a celestial map.
(We can use star locations to determine a place in time). It's only not accessible if you're using the speed of light as way to travel. If you use particles, it's a whole different story.
