United States Presidential Election, 1984

This entry is in the series United States Presidential Elections
ronald-reagan-1984.webp

Introduction

This is a revision of the United States presidential election of 1984, the year of Republican President Ronald Reagan’s landslide reelection against Democrat Walter Mondale.

In the 1984 election of the current timeline, Reagan beat Mondale by over 18 percentage points, with Reagan winning 49 states. This revised version of history makes the 1984 landslide much wider. In this revision, Reagan has 73.3% of the popular vote compared to Mondale’s 25.7%, for a victory margin of over 47.5%. Reagan wins everything except the District of Columbia, claiming victory in all 50 states!

I’m doing this because Reagan deserves a greater landslide reelection than Nixon, since Reagan was a Republican in the true sense of the word who loved this country, compared to Nixon, who was a Republican In Name Only (RINO), or a moderate Republican with views leaning toward socialism and/or leftism in many ways. The 1984 presidential election will stand as the biggest landslide in the 20th century.

The revised election below is organized state-by-state in alphabetical order, for a total of 50 states plus the District of Columbia.

Comments

Your articles are really detailed. Do you do it entirely yourself? Or do you use AI here and there?

I'm also curious as to how you come up with all those exact, specific changes and numbers? :)

To answer your questions:
  1. Not exactly. I start off with some research on what the results are in the current history or timeline, then I go from there.
  2. No, I don't use AI for anything except my pictures.
  3. The information in the articles are a combination of research and changing the facts. I change the numbers with the aid of a calculator.
Does this help in your understanding?

Also, I thank you for your first comment. You have to have all the details you want to change; I go to practically every nook and cranny of details and aspects in my articles, and with that you can see how I'm adamant in my long term goal of changing history. :)
