Do you think that toyota cars have become self aware and are accelerating their drivers to death?

Do you think that toyota has installed technology in all their cars that allows one from afar via satellite control to race the the car to oblivion? Has this technology been tested recently among the public?

Do you think the internet has become self aware and the technology in toyota is compatible with the AI, such that the AI can take over control of certain electronic functions such as fuel mixture and acceleration?

MAybe the Globalists, who need Obama to be popular, has satellite technology that can overtake and control some aspects of the central processor in toyotas and that they purposely made 60-70 cars crash, electronically, to harm the market share and boost american auto sales.

A boost to american auto sales of this magnitude could be claimed a victory by the white house and boost Obama s clout. I'm not saying Obama did it, but that someone or some group needing the Obama train to be popular.

Answers: No, No, No, No.

Why not consider this as another possible explanation for Toyota's recent problems: Back at the end of WW II, that globalist and 33rd Degree Freemason, Harry Truman, knew Japan was going to become an industrial powerhouse that would eventually usurp American dominance in auto manufacturing. Is it possible that, way back then, Truman issued an executive order to infiltrate Toyota (yes, they were around even back then) and that infiltrator slowly and methodically worked to undermine Toyota's designs until finally this happened?

Sounds just as plausible as your cornspiracy theories, right?

How about a more grounded explanation: Big companies sometimes get so big, and produce so many products, that the law of averages is bound to overcome even fastidious attention to safety and quality. Another problem when you are the "top dog" in any industry... you tend to get complacent. Ask GM, ask Microsoft, ask Coca Cola...

hmmmmmmm....no, i don't think so.

I'd agree with you that companies get too big, complacent, etc. And I would not even consider a conspiracy if Toyota said, "yup, here it is, this do-dad here rubs that over there and causes accelerator malfunction". NO, it took them a week + to come up with a gas pedal fix, which I think is just a place holder, since they really do not know what the problem is yet. I'd bet there will be a second "fix" for this in months to come (negating the validity of this current pedal part replacement fix) or the run-away vehicle will continue.

No neeed to argue about it, until a few months have past. Then I will be either correct, or incorrect.

do you think harry would really do that?

Don't know if those were automatic cars...and I've never driven one. But for a manual gears car, if the accelerator gets stuck you just press the clutch pedal and disconnect the engine from the transmission. Engine can then rev all it likes but you'll just slow down and stop.

I'd imagine for an automatic you just put it in neutral.

I would imagine that the driver gets confused....and simply doesn't think of doing that. Same with brake failure......drivers simply don't think about using the gears ( engine braking ) to slow the car.....or the hand brake. People are so used to their cars working OK, that when they don't........the obvious thing to do just doesn't come to mind.

ruthless, not true. Brakes on toyotas are electronic. You can push soft or hard, the end result is 1's and 0's and software then controlling brake action.

Engine redline will out-do stomping on the brake every time, in any car. Try it. Get in a car and put both feet down. Make sure you have plenty of clear space in front on you. ...

ive done it plenty of times in my life, and can attest that the car does stop.

did you know theres more than one brake in a vehicle? one of them is not electronic.

ruthless is right.

Federal regulations require that the emergency brake be completely mechanically actuated. Must work if all power has failed.

Still think toyota's problems could not come from satellites?

"Hacker Disables More Than 100 Cars Remotely

More than 100 drivers in Austin, Texas found their cars disabled or the horns honking out of control, after an intruder ran amok in a web-based vehicle-immobilization system normally used to get the attention of consumers delinquent in their auto payments."
